Damocles Artillery Strider

Description

The Damocles Artillery Strider is finally available as 3D printed miniature for the Northern faction.

The original Damocles was a mobile Heavy Artillery Gun (HAG) based on the Mammoth Assault Strider. It’s basic defensive weaponry includes light pulse lasers and medium machineguns. It later received an A2 variant upgrade, adding arms and a tracked feet (Secondary Movement System) upgrade to increase its combat speed.

The DP9 team looked at the arms of the A2 and decided to add two more variants. The first was the Standoff variant to deal with anyone wanting to get too close. It uses an Apex Heavy Frag Cannon (HFG) in the right hand and an Apex Heavy Vibro Blade (HVB – Axe) in the left hand. The second new variant, the Bombard carries Light Field Guns (LFGs – linked) on both arms.

The model also features interior cockpit detail with a pilot and gunner, plus open and closed cockpit hatch detail parts. The Heavy Artillery Gun also includes parts for three different inclinations and the Damocles shoulders/arms are fully posable. The legs, ballistic cloth section, and feet all have connections with 2mm diameter by 1mm deep holes for magnets (not included) for easy leg pose changes and there are two different (standard and leaning a bit forward) ballistic section pose parts.

The Damocles is 3D-printed in ABS like resin and like all Heavy Gear Blitz models is 1/144 scale. It stands 51mm tall to the top of shoulders. DP9 provide this model in a small black box, with foam padding and all the resin parts in a small zip lock bag.
