What do we do with your information?

Payment

If you choose to purchase from our online store, your card information is handled directly by the payment gateway chosen to complete your purchase. Card information is not passed to our website by the payment gateway at any time and no card details are stored on our site.

User Cookies

If you have an account on our website, we use cookies to manage your login process. After login, Shiny Games sets the wordpress_logged_in_[hash] cookie, which indicates when you’re logged in, and who you are, for our website to check as you use it.

To manage your interactions with our online store, we also use a cookie called wp_woocommerce_session_[hash] which expires the same day as you log in. There is also a cookie called woocommerce_recently_viewed which is used to show you the last few products you looked at; this cookie expires when you close your browser session.

We also use a cookie called catAccCookies that is set to True if you accept the use of cookies on our website. This allows us to stop showing you the message about cookies that appears when you first log in.

Reviewer Cookies

When you comment on a page or review a product on our site you will get cookies stored on your computer. This is purely for your convenience, so you won’t need to re-type your information again when you want to leave another comment. Three cookies are set for commenters and reviewers:

comment_author is used to store the name you entered with your comment.
