Shiny Games is focused on making its range of products available to gamers within the United Kingdom and across the world; increasingly customers from further afield are choosing to shop with us. However, international delivery prices are increasingly complicated and currently we are not able to ship to the EU at all. In other cases, if the webstore doesn’t seem to be giving you a reasonable price for overseas deliveries, please contact us for delivery options and quotes.

UK Delivery
Within the UK, we primarily use Royal Mail delivery options due to the increased cost of courier delivery. We continue to offer the best prices we can to customers, and our charges closely follow the cost of shipping to us. All our UK delivery options are now fully tracked.
Royal Mail Tracked 48: Our ‘standard’ delivery option, this is a fully tracked delivery service that aims to deliver to most of the UK in two working days. The cost remains just £3.00+VAT* for parcels that weigh up to 2kg (including packaging) but can be used for orders up to 20kg in weight. Delivery timescales are not guaranteed.
Royal Mail Tracked 24: As above, but a service that hopes to deliver within one working day to the majority of the UK. For typically sized parcels under 2kg in weight, the cost for this is £3.50+VAT*.
Courier Delivery: Currently available for the mainland UK only, this service provides next working day delivery for mainland UK locations. The cost is £7.00+VAT*. The vast majority of our UK courier deliveries are with Fedex, although UPS may be used for some areas that Fedex does not adequately cover.
Important Note on Northern Ireland: Due to it’s inclusion in the EU, we are not able to deliver to Northern Ireland as of August 2026. See European Delivery below for further details.
* No VAT is charged on orders that contain only books.
Free Delivery (UK Only)
Free delivery is available on all orders with a value of £75 or more within the United Kingdom. Orders qualifying for Free delivery will normally be sent Royal Mail Tracked 48.
Occasionally, we may offer free delivery on lower value orders for a limited time using a voucher code. These voucher codes will normally be provided to customers who have signed up for our email newsletter; you can sign up for this at the bottom of the page.
When you order qualifies for free delivery this will normally be automatically selected for you during the checkout process, but please ensure that this is selected if available or you may be charged for delivery.
European Delivery
Unfortunately, we’re not currently able to deliver to EU countries due to the EU PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) regulations which came into effect on 12th August.
While we don’t see this situation changing in the near future, the fact that the EU is also targeting it’s own nations’ small traders with these regulations means there is a possibility that they may be rescinded or rewritten. However, until that happens, we will not be able to supply any products into EU countries unless the manufacturers of those products themselves become compliant.
Special note on Russian and Belarusian Deliveries: Due to the current circumstances involving Russia, Belarus and Ukraine, we are also not accepting orders from either Russia or Belarus.
USA Deliveries
Currently we are shipping to the United States of America. The tariff situation there is constantly changing, and should a supplemental charge be required to cover and customs duties or charges we pay, that will be added to the cost of delivery. We endeavour to use Royal Mail Tracked delivery to the USA wherever possible.
International Delivery
We have revised our international shipping charges and a range of international shipping options are available via the webstore. Should there not be a shipping option for your order on the webstore then contact us to get a quote for delivery based on what you wish to order. We endeavour to use Royal Mail Tracked delivery internationally wherever possible.
Except where noted above, customers are responsible for any import charges or taxes levied by their government. These are not the responsibility of Shiny Games.
Despatch and Delivery Times
We aim to despatch all orders within two business days of receipt and payment. If we become aware that any part of the process will fall outside these timescales, we will make you aware of this as soon as possible.
Preorders
If your order includes preorders, then delivery of the whole order will not normally take place until the preordered product becomes available for delivery. We may, at our discretion, ship the rest of your order sooner but if you want to ensure that you get the non-preorder items as soon as possible, it’s best to make your preorder separately; you may pay more postage overall, but your in-stock items will not be delayed.
