6th Airborne Ranger Reg. (Molotok)

Description

The 6th Airborne Ranger is a USARF airborne light infantry fighter. Of all USAriadnan units, they are closest to the original operating profile of the US Rangers; a light airborne unit capable of rapid deployment and special operations. The task assigned to the Airborne Rangers is always crucial for the success of the operation, and as dangerous as it is crucial; this is why it is said in the USARF that this unit is a hero-producing machine.

The Molotok (Russian for “Hammer”) is a light machinegun of compact design, with a short barrel, foldable butt and a chamber adapted for lighter ammunition. It covers the requirements of airborne and special operations units; it lacks the range and power of the standard Ariadnan HMG but is especially useful in urban and Close Quarters Battle environments.
