Long ago, the peoples that would become the forebears of the Great Clans worked under the guidance of the divine children, the Kami, to carve out their place in a blossoming Rokugan. The fledgling Unicorn, led by the fierce and wise Lady Shinjo, made the ultimate sacrifice to serve the Empire. They left everything behind to discover what marvels and dangers existed beyond the safety of the only home they knew.
