What’s Cyberpunk Red?
Cyberpunk Red is a new edition of the original Cyberpunk tabletop RPG from Mike Pondsmith and published by R Talsorian Games. It uses an updated version of the Interlock game system. It’s very closely related to CD Projekt Red’s forthcoming Cyberpunk 2077 video game, which features Keanu Reeves as Johnny Silverhand. R Talsorian Games is working closely with the computer game developer and the two games share a timeline.

Really solid product. 4.5/5 stars rounded up to 5.
In the box there are character sheets for 6 out of the 9 classes to be available when CPR releases in the future. You have stat block options with each of these allowing for slight variations.
The set also encourages changing your background/motivations etc to tailor your character to suit your character idea.
The maps are solid quality and the pawns/tokens are too. My only gripe is there are a lot of repeated tokens on the token sheet so not much in the way of variety (hence the 0.5 star loss). However, at this price point I can’t really argue too much.
The books are pretty great in my opinion and give a solid feel for what is to come when the core rulebook gets released. The art is great and the separate ‘world’ book is really welcome, especially for someone new to the cyberpunk setting.
The custom dice are from Q Workshop I believe. I really like them, but I know some people dislike Q’s designs for being hard to read etc. That’s going to come down to personal preference.
