Shiny Games says about the Paragons

These are a useful unit for missions that involve moving tokens or getting quickly around the table for some other reason. With a high initial move, the Thruster Blast action and the ability to fly over troublesome obstacles (and enemies) they are great for outpacing most opposition. Their weakness is probably their defences, despite the look of their power armour suits; without a guard or redirect ability they will quickly take damage when targeted, despite their good Armour rating. Taking a single Paragon rather than two is inviting your opponent to kill it quickly for easy victory points.
