This is an alternative to the main core X-Wing Miniatures Game box which has an X-Wing and TIEs from the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens move rather than ‘classic’ X-Wing and TIE Fighters from the original Star Wars movie trilogy. Although the ships are very similar to those in the original box, the differences are not just cosmetic; these are new ships with different stats for you to try out and are useable alongside any of the existing ships and expansion sets for the game.

If you want to play the X-Wing Miniatures game with ships from the new movie then this is the core set for you.
