Sand Spider

Description

The Sand Spider is an off-road vehicle that can transport two squads of infantry. It is usable by all Terra Novan Factions (Black Talons, Peace River, North, South, NuCoal, and Leagueless). Originally, Paxton Arms believed the Sand Spider’s low-profile and camouflage sufficient for concealment. Paxton incorporated stealth options to further enhance the Sand Spider’s ability to conceal itself. It is one of the few stealth capable exports sold on Terra Nova’s open market.

The Sand Spider pack includes one of the off-road transport with all the variant weapons (LAC, MAC, MRC, LATM, LAR, and HAVM), plus a set of Minelayer parts. Dream Pod 9 3D-printed this miniature using  ABS-like resin. This model is 53mm long, 42mm wide and 27mm tall. It comes packaged in a plastic clamshell blister.

Dream Pod 9 created the Sand Spider primarily due to the Heavy Gear RPG (4th Edition). This called for a series of new vehicles to suit small groups of player characters in their adventures.
