Description
A good number of the Regiment of Armoured Chasseurs of Acontecimento are of Filipino-Malaysian ethnicity. For this reason the Armoured Chasseurs received the nickname ‘Tickbalangs’, a powerful mythical being from Filipino folklore, half man, half horse. This regiment uses the Stingray 3 Series model TAGs adapted to jungle terrain combat for both jungles and dense forests. Its tactical function combines perfectly with its weaponry: a high cadence general use machine gun, a flame-thrower that is deadly in close combat and which serves to clear vegetation around a hidden position, antipersonnel mines for ambushes, and a hand-to-hand combat weapon which allows it to cover all eventualities in jungle combat. The increased mobility of the Stringray series allows it to take a more active and aggressive role than other TAGs.
The Uhlan Regiment originates from the Clausewitz Citadel in Aquila on Neoterra. It is the most famous anti-tank Armoured Cavalry unit in PanOceania. As TAG destroyers, its primary function is to provide anti-tank support during combat operations. The pilots of this regiment receive specific training based on hunting and stalking hostile TAGs and armoured vehicles. Their operational doctrine encourages movement and the establishment of favourable positions from which to block off an enemy offensive. Its function is so specific that they are not meant to participate in frontal offensives like the Squalo series TAGs. On the contrary, an Uhlan is a lightweight, highly mobile unit that only needs to manoeuvre until it reaches a position of tactical domination where it will camouflage itself to ambush an enemy TAG.
