Shiny Games is excited to announce that we’ll be at UK Games Expo this year, Friday 31st May—Sunday 2nd June 2024. You will find us at Stand 2-1189, towards the back of Hall 2, near the Shop & Drop.
It’s almost that time of the year for the UK’s biggest games show, UK Games Expo 2024 at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC). For the first time, Shiny Games will be exhibiting at the show and we’re excited to bring you some of our most popular games that you might not find elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
Where You Can Find Shiny Games at UKGE 2024
You will find us in Hall 2 at the NEC, at stand 2-1189. That’s towards the back-right corner of Hall 2, near the Shop & Drop. If you navigate by UKGE’s street names, we’re on OnTableTop Street, between Flesh and Blood Avenue and Monarch Avenue. Head towards the cosplay and then turn right.

What We’ll Have on Display
Our stand at UKGE is about half the size we normally have at shows. This means we’ll be quite focused with the lines we bring:
Cyberpunk Red Combat Zone
Fight for your corner of Cyberpunk Red’s Night City in Monster Fight Club’s Combat Zone skirmish game. Choose your gang from freelance Edgerunners, corporate hit teams, the many gangs of Night City and even the NCPD cops!
We’ll have everything you need to take part in Cyberpunk Red Combat Zone on our stand, including some Kickstarter Exclusives. So long as no Edgerunners assault our transatlantic container ship, we should have the first stock of Second Printing Core Sets to hit British shores too!
Borderlands: Mister Torgue’s Arena of Badassery
Lead a team of Borderlands Vault Hunters through Mr Torgue’s Arena of Badassery. This cooperative miniatures boardgame, based on the series of hit video games, lets you battle through hordes of psychos, skags and worse to achieve the goals Mister Torgue sets.
As well as the core boardgame itself, we’ll have a full set of campaigns, add-ons and special characters to enhance and extend your games. Everything available during the Borderlands: MTAOB Kickstarter will be available at our stand for your delectation and amazement

Heavy Gear
Pilot giant robotic Heavy Gears across Terra Nova in Dream Pod 9’s Heavy Gear Blitz! Heavy Gear Blitz! is a fast-paced squad-level tabletop miniatures game of armoured battle-suit combat. Strike forces from Terra Nova and other colony worlds battle the invading Colonial Expeditionary Forces of Earth. The main weapon in their defence is the Heavy Gear, an armoured battle-suit standing three times a person’s height. They fight for freedom and control of their destiny, with their Gears supported by tanks, infantry, and other armoured vehicles.
We’ll have all the Two Player Starter Boxes and single player Army Boxes for Heavy Gear Blitz at our stand. We’ll also have the rulebooks for both Heavy Gear Blitz and Heavy Gear Arena.
Given the huge range of models available for Heavy Gear, it won’t be possible to bring the whole range along. If you want to add to your Terra Novan army then you can use our Order Collection service.
