It’s never a good idea to go to a wargame or skirmish game without a tape measure. Despite this, they seem to be the most easily forgotten piece of gaming equipment.
The Rangefinder is a great measure for gaming purposes; it allows you to lock the measure at a set length for repeated measuring of specific distances (movement etc.). Mainly though it is a good size and non-slip texture so you keep hold of it and don’t drop it into your carefully painted formations of troops.
